Here's a little something out of left field.Yeah, I'm into Bleach, and even though they were really pushing this fight, when it actually happened it was too quick for my tastes (yeah, I know, that's how it was in the manga too), but it was still pretty bad ass.
Figured I'd start doing some anime prints for Metro-Con in July.
So I guess more will come.

GREAT JOB! just one things a little off, there is nothing showing where Ichigo's knees are so it looks like he has tiny legs O.o but other than that it's perfect!

Well, the same could be said about Grimmjow's hand, but I was going for a forced perspective look for the image. But you do have a point on not showing Itchigo's knee, so I added a shadow showing where the knee bend is so it should be "perfect" now.

Thanks! Yeah, it was important to me to try and capture the kinetic frenzy and speed of the fight. I'm actually happy how it turned out. Especially since I've never tried that before.

How did I do it?!?!?!
Such a simple question, with such a complex answer...
Hmmm... Well, i merely did the line art on a 8.5 X 11 cardstock paper. Only did Itchigo and Grimmjow, then after scanning it into Photoshop, I added the coloring, after that, I placed the on a 11X17 layout and proceeded to paint in the background. Pretty much the same way you would do so in animation. Painting the background, then working my way up to the foreground. Added the smoke effect with the lasso tool then blurring them depending on their placement in the image, making it look out of focus to add depth to the image. Then I added the impact effect on the kick, tweaked the colors and DONE!!! Grimmjow vs. Itchigo!

my favorite part of Bleach... well, anything with Grimmjow was my favorite. Specially loved his Pantera release, this is so awesome <3 I love the pose and the colouring is flawless!

Yeah, when I finally saw his release I thought yo myself "Oh no... the furries are gonna have a field day with this." And I was right. But it was still a pretty cool design.
