This was a commission for ~rowan4670 . The concept and text were scripted by ~rowan4670 .I am embarrassed to say that he asked for this commission back in 2007 and I didn't get it finished back then, due to all kinds of personal problems. Then it got so late that I was too ashamed to come back to dA for a long time.
Coming back now, I felt that the least I should do was to complete the commission that was so very long overdue.
The weird thing about this one is that I actually did the linework drawing and inking back in 2007 but colored it in 2010. So it is an odd mix of skill levels for me.

I noticed you said you didn't really care for magic transformations, but this is hardly a *poof* type piece. Still looks like a force feminization, just by the way of magic.

Yes, my main objection to magical transformations, and this is just my personal taste, mind you, is that if you just do a magical morphing sequence, you can change anything into anything and the original something is lost. It's too easy and too complete for my tastes. But if magic is being used to apply cosmetic effects, it doesn't really matter that it's magic any more than if it were people or robots doing it. In that sense, I suppose that I would equally object to morphing via a sci-fi ray-gun.
Although, "object" is probably too strong a word. I don't mind if other people want to draw that sort of thing. It just isn't what I personally prefer.

Very nice! Great detail and execution, with some nice "costume" detail (like the wig for example) rolled in with the body morph. I confess, that I didn't notice the army of bunnies in the background at first. TG terracotta warriors!

I don't know if he uses dA much but I contacted him through e-mail and he was very happy to receive this finished work. He was really very gracious about it, probably much nicer and more understanding than I would have been in his position.

I general avoid magical transformations because they make it a little too easy. You start with A, choose B, then just morph between them. I've seen some very creative magical morphs but I prefer to work in a more mechanical style. I enjoy the many different steps of a non-magical transition. I also prefer costuming to actual body-change. So if I were to do a magical transformation, it would be more along the lines of the clothing magical putting itself on.

Please don't feel ashamed. Your intentions of completing those commissions you promised to are honorable and respectable. Everyone experiences problems in life that change their direction to one that was unplanned for. It's how we deal with such adversity that defines us. Glad to have you back, no matter how long the hiatus. With these latest drawings, I can say that it was worth the wait.

really your quality of the drawing in many ofr aspects,...draw lines, colours, emotions and scenes,...is top here 
but about doing someones comission, yes, thats often a problem,...and after some time already "not done", normally oyu dont want to draw it bec its already so late, so often ignoring the prmised owrk comes XD....know this scenario, but the people done the work for are always happy to see it, even its a long time rpomised, so ic na only encourage ot do , the waiters will be always happy, even if they had to wait long time ^^...

For me, this art is one of the best in the past few months, because the magical transformation of MtF, this is my favorite destination in the TG-art, and your stile is very good.

Yeah, magic is what the commissioner wanted but I tend to avoid magical gimmicks in my original projects. I've seen them done well but I prefer a more technical approach for my own work.
