Description
A KiSS doll of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII with a focus on his adventures in Wall Market. This doll features hairstyle materia, lots of cosplay, extensive animation, corsetting, bonus art, and mini-games!USE THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON shown to the left of the preview image above.
This is an interactive doll in the KiSS file format. Doll in the KiSS file format require a KiSS viewing program to use. Don't unpack the LZH. KiSS viewing programs will load the doll directly from the LZH.
Use the "Download to Desktop" button to get the doll. You will need an FKiSS4-capable viewing program, such as [Direct KiSS ], to play with this doll. You can download Direct KiSS from [this page ]. Download Direct KiSS, install it, then run Direct KiSS and load MSCLOUD2.LZH into it.
Some information for those who are new to KiSS dolls and Direct KiSS:
- After loading a doll into Direct KiSS, you can use the little numbered buttons (they look like numbers with little hangers beside them) on the toolbar to change to different pages of the doll.
- KiSS dolls use a mouse-driven interface but it can be used in many different ways. Sometimes you drag-and-drop. Sometimes, you just click on a button. Sometimes you drag something and hold it in place until you're done with it. Try different things and see what you can discover.
Troubleshooting:
- Many KiSS dolls use color palettes but some video cards do not support paletting correctly since it is so rarely used these days. If the colors look very wrong when you load a doll, try opening the Direct KiSS Options for Video and turning on "Force Palette Emulation", then close and restart Direct KiSS.
- Different video cards handle texel alignment differently. If the loaded doll seems to have some odd little distortions, try opening the Direct KiSS Options for Video and turning on "Use Texel Alignment Adjustment", then close and restart Direct KiSS.

I didn't want to use alternate hair coloring in this doll because I wanted it to look like Cloud dressed up as different characters rather than actually looking like the other characters. It's not a blonde Lulu, it's Cloud, who is a blonde, dressed as Lulu.

Splendidly made. Uses all the advantages there are to FKiSS, including the minigame and animated articles of clothing.
However, one option for improvement would be the ability to affect Cloud's figure in more ways. While 2 states (male and feminized) is good, more would be amazing. A less proud stance, for instance, or one even more curvacious. Merely ideas.

That would be nice but unrealistic to accomplish. As it is, each individual piece of clothing required at least 4 drawings for the various poses (on the rack, masculine, feminine, and tween). It already added up to several thousand drawings. You have to draw the line somewhere or it can never be completed.

This is just tremendous! The amount of work it must've taken...I'm very impressed, thank you for your efforts with this piece of art.
The mini-games are fun to play on their own as it is, although I seemed to be able to get more points quickly with "Falling" I wanted to keep playing the skiprope to see the whole of Yuffie's rhyme, heh! All those different clothing & accessory combinations to try out...and there's something oddly fun about suddenly yanking Cloud into a corset and watching him pant for breath, how evil

Unfortunately, there is currently no KiSS viewing program for the Mac which supports FKiSS4. I think you'd have to install Windows on your Mac and run a Windows-based KiSS viewer to load this doll.

This is INCREDIBLE! This is the first KiSS doll I've tried and I'm glad I did. The animations and drawings are all brilliant, the number of hairstyles,accessories,clothes etc is amazing as well! Great stuff all around. Only minor problem i had was saving up to get that buster metera.. Was hoping for some kind of BE effect,man that would have kicked ass.., but it just closes the top witch you can do any way.

Ah, but it closes the corset without having to click on the laces which means you can open and close the corset even when it is covered up by other clothing.

Oh my god.
I downloaded it around when I found out you had a DevART account, but I couldn't load this doll before. I had about the world's crappiest video card and it refused to load with it. But I got a new card from my brother for Christmas and installed it.
Well, long story short, I had insomnia and I remembered this doll and how I couldn't open it before. I tried tonight and I've been playing with it for an hour and a half now, with no end in sight.
I make KiSS dolls as you know by now, having posted them to the Big KiSS Page in the past. A lot of those dolls I made at a young age and they're really.. well, not good. I first found out about KiSS when I was 11, after all. n_n;; Now that I've played this, I am amazed. I haven't seen the limits of KiSS pressed this far since The Scarecrow, and I am frankly incredibly impressed and plesantly surprised. It gives me a new KiSS goal to work for- something at least halfway awesome as this.
I've spent so much time just dressing him up, err, her, not to mention how fun the minigames are. Though I'm bad at the jump rope game, I'm great at the falling one, and I'm sure I'll have those last few boxes off the omake shop shelf soon.
This rivals even some doujinshi games I've purchased in the past in amusement value and just plain quality.
The artwork is bloody fantastic to boot; you're a much better digital artist than me, I'll freely admit.
Now I'm totally redesigning my next KiSS doll- I may not be an excellent artist, but many years of programming have told me I can sure as heck do that! I've not learned any FKiSS past 3, but now I'm most definately going to spend part of my weekend doing that- I've already studied your little miniguide adendum to the readme. Thanks so much for that.

Not a great fan of FF7, but this was awesome.
Heck, I probably spent more time playing the falling minigame than dressing up Cloud, the game was that great. Though, I must admit to being miserable at jumprope. Not too good at it with a real jumprope either, but the computerized version was too tough for me.
The wallstreet dresses were all pretty good, but I think the best dressing-up part was with all the hairstyles, and seeing how they reacted to being styled. Great job! ^.^

Now, maybe I missed something, but I have two questions:
Are there pages 5, 7, and 8 - unlockable maybe by something I missed?
And, is there a way to reset one's gil amount and omake shop purchases? It seems to have saved it, which isn't a bad thing, unless you want to start over and earn things again.

Those sets are where the mini games are loaded, and unless you enter the mini gmaes, they should no be selectable (so you can get to them thru the proper interface of the games).

I'm having a problem using it. I've downloaded and installed Direct KiSS and I'm downloaded the file, but when I open the file all I see is this pink background and alot of half-shapes. Is anyone else having this issue/has a solution, as I really like this work, but now I can't see it in its fullness.

I checked on the forums, I had to have my video card force the color pallete. This is a really cool deally, I've heard people talk about mini-games and other such things, where do I find those?

I don't suppose anyone knows how to run Direct Kiss under VMWare Workstation without having it turn into a zombie process, eating up an infinite amount of memory and only being killable by resetting the VM? I'd really like to try this doll out, but there are only two KISS viewers that support FKISS4. One (Direct KISS) does not appear to run under any kind of emulation layer and the other one is for RISCOS.

KiSS dolls often have multiple pages which you can access by clicking on the little numbered buttons on the toolbar of the KiSS viewer Direct KiSS. In the Miss Cloud doll, the mini-games are on page 6.

The red materia are hairstyles. Put one in the round slot in the top right corner.
