Well it depends for me. Idk, I think the emo boys can be quite funny at times, but then again I love Sokka and Zuko, and Rock Lee and Sasuke. Idk, it matters more what character more than if they are "emo".

For me, the "emo" boy seems to be a very generic character, and every one I've encountered has been the exact same.
Though I like Zuko more than Sasuke, 'cause Zuko has an adorable dorky side while Sasuke is just lame ;-;
But like, I love boys like Luffy and Aang and even Naruto cause they're carefree and fun and I think that they're all unique.

I think every emo has their own flare, really. I mean yes, they have most of the idea of their character revolving on angst and coldness.
I prefer Sasuke in the original series, because I do see moments where he acts like the kid he is such as when he insults Naruto and such. It's funny. xO
Zuko is priceless when he is trying to get into Aang's group. I love emo's for the priceless moments when they don't like emo, really. XD Something about them awesomes up the screen. Like I can't wait for Sasuke to come back into Naruto. All emo's reek with awesome, imo.
But the playful ones are great too, just i'm a pathetic fangirl, emo's won my heart. <3

Partially, if only because Kishimoto showed the diehard NaruSaku fans (who act much like that kind of Zutarans!) that their pairing is certainly not CAAAAAAANNNNNNNON. I saw evidence that it was probably not going to be long before now. Nonetheless, canon doesn't have to determine what you like.
BUT, I'm also even madder at Kishimoto. First he had to rip out my heart, crush it, smash it on the floor, and scatter the shards across three galaxies, and then, depending on what he shows in 438, he (possibly) went and did the same to me love's heart. I'm not sure if I should bother to hope for the best.

Ew, I hate that my fandom [can we even call it my fandom, now that I've officially "jumped ship" to SasuNaru XD] does that. I had always thought that NaruSaku had more canon potential over NaruHina and SasuSaku, but I hate the people who believe that their ship is canon without any conclusive evidence [lol, i've been playing TOO MUCH phoenix wright as of late XD]
IMO, my ship [sasunaru] has enough conclusive evidence to suspect a romantic relationship, or something beyond the mere bond of friends or brothers.
All three "Big 3" ships do not. If I had to pick one though, I'd have to go with NaruSaku though.
Nonetheless, canon doesn't have to determine what you like.

Indeed. I always look carefully at everything (characterization, balance, what happens) before I fully embrace a ship.
Eh, we see things through different eyes. I do suspect that Sasuke might be gay, though. He shuns girls that want to revive his clan and dresses like a fag. Still, I prefer writing and drawing MY vision of what things should be like than focusing on what's CAAAAANNNNNNON. And it's pretty obvious what my vision is.
