I sure hope that if they ever make another NiGHTS game, which they better, they have Owl come back. Owl helped balance out NiGHTS's enthusiasm and keep things in check when they got a little too crazy. He really is a bit like a father to NiGHTS now that I think about it. At the very least, Owl makes a much better father than Wizeman does.

I enjoyed Owl a lot in JoD--like you mentioned, he balanced out NiGHTS' more rambunctious personality quite nicely.Β He (as well as Octopaw) also opened up the possibility of there being other creatures in Nightopia besides the cute little cherub babies, so that's also a plus!
And yes, Owl is absolutely a better dad than Wizeman.Β He may be a bit of a fusspot, but he's no tyrant!
