Description This HZ Holden panel van, so the story go's, was washed away in a flash flood in the early 70's at Lake Eucombene. When I looked inside the key was still in the ignition.

That's awesome!
I had planned to go camping this weekend at Lake Eucumbene, but was told the fishing is terrible there at the moment, so stayed at Blowering Dam instead.

I was told the water at Eucumbene was low but I didn't think it would be this bad!

Great photo mate!

it's in decent shape for being underwater for 30 years. is there a reason why the water went away, drought?

Yes there was a drought.

That's an amazing shot!
Well done!
Would you mind if I used you as a similar artist to my topic I am doing at school?
I'm doing a body of work on early holdens, some wrecked and in peices, and this is a similar photo to what I had in mind, so would you mind if I used you as a similar artist?
(I won't be using your photo, just listing the artwork as an artist similar to my topic on Australia)

Thanks.

All I done was write a little note about the image, and the story behind it, and the link to your DeviantART profile
Thanks.
It just goes towards my process work in my art diary, just to show I have researched artists with simlar topics.

Wow I love this photo. It's such an unexpected combination of elements, that beautiful landscape, and this rusty, dilapidated van. As usual, your use of colour and light is spot on. Beautiful!
