Because you're using Windows in Dark Mode. Please read the instructions carefully: Make sure you use Windows in Light Mode (not Dark Mode)!

Ok... two other things can be the problem:
1. Make sure you have the shellstyle.dll file in the theme's folder like this:Β C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Simplify_10_dark_purple\Shell\NormalColor\shellstyle.dll
2. Make sure you're on the latest Windows version v1809
Also, I see a strange thing... your taskbar color is almost black and not dark purple... did you change it by any chance?

Yes, i'm on v1809 and yes, dll-file is in proper destination.
About taskbar. Actually, i don't know. Probably, no. But i'd played with other themes, applying and bring it back, you know.Β
But i have deleted old themes before i change to yours. I don't know what's problem.
And another one. Is it okay, when my taskbar context menu is black, when my windows theme is light? I doubt.

I see... then maybe you have an old version of the theme. I've sent you a note... please check it out.
Also, can you please tell me where and when did you get the theme from? Gumroad, sellfy.com or did I sent it to you?
And yes, not all my themes have a light taskbar context menu. So that's normal. But again, when you apply the Simplify Dark Purple theme, the taskbar should be dark purple not black. Of course you can change the Windows Accent color to whatever you want, and that will change the taskbar as well.

That's the firefox app which is only partially affected by the Windows theme (you can thank mozillaΒ developers for that!).
But if you look closely in the Resources folder you will find a folder called "Simplify Dark Purple for Firefox". Inside this folder you will find all the instructions. Enjoy!

You can change whatever you want there... it's just a CSS file. You can find plenty of documentation online on how to edit CSS.
