In my experience showing at galleries I noticed that the bulk of the people who collect art are artists, which means very little money. In an effort to cater to this market I wanted to do some drawings that don't take a really long time to complete.So I was having a conversation here on DA with about weapons, when I got the idea for this series of drawings. I call it "Choose Your Weapon." Each piece will feature a girl with a blunt or bladed weapon against a tattoo-esque backdrop. Obviously this one features the meat cleaver. I can finnish one of these in roughly two hours.
Also freckles are fuckin' hot so here are some more.

This is really cool, and I know what you mean. It sucks when you put tons of effort into something that you hope to make a buck or two off of, and no one wants it. Then you see someone slap out a crappy crayola-drawn pic and make a buttload of money...yeah, that sucks ass. And I'm with you becasue I've thought about doing stuff like this myself, just to see if 'simple' can translate into a few bucks on the side.

Pretty damn nice, specially with a Ball point pen. Can I make a suggestion for a next weapon? A big-ass wrench. Always thought you coulc fuck someone up with that. Just talking off the top of my head.

I concur. Meat cleavers and freckles do it for me. Maybe it's because I'm Irish. Look forward to seeing more. Do something with a claymore!

How do you achieve such delicate freckles armed only with a micron pen? Don't tell me, its more mysterious.

I do the freckles with the Pilot ballpoint pen. I do the line work on the girl in Micron the rest is straight ballpoint.
