Yeah, when I posted this drawing I didn't think there would be such a violent reaction against the film. Ah well. Thanks.

I'm sorrry, but Juno was the only good thing about that film. It was too obvious and where was all that light coming from? Me and my friends always have to over analyise films. And are you seriously telling me that the creature couldn't tell the difference between rock and skin and flesh when it put its hand on her head. And what about the fire she was holding, couldn't feel that after living down in the cold and damp for so many years? And why would creatures evolve to live underground away from their food source. I like the drawing but not the film :s

Sweet. I've been wanting to check it out, but I am very poor and reserve my money like some creepy old man now. But this is a sweet picture, and it's good to have your recommendation on the film. I'll probably wait for DVD and force my wife to watch it.
Anyway, jeez, enough of that. The picture is awesome. Pretty good job capturing her likeness. I can't imagine anybody that liked the movie thinking this is anything but awesome.

I'm still kinda developing a style for pieces like this. Where I try to get a good likeness while still imposing my own style on the piece. I did this one up in a couple hours while taking a break from a huge piece I am working on. I imagine if I spent a little more time I would get a better likeness. But you know you do what you can in the little spare time you get.

And for what it is, it's pretty damned good. I think you struck a pretty admirable balance. And I imagine this is a skill that takes a good bit of practice to hone to any real degree.

I haven't seen it because I thought it looked like they took the headline "Woman Has Baby Bat Boy" to a new level

What do you have against the Bat Boy?

Are you serious? That film was so bad, it is now the standard by which me & my mates measure bad films.
As in "That was pretty awful' - 'But it wasn't as bad as the descent"
This picture however, is scrumptious.

I'm totally serious! Six hot girls in a cave with nothing to fight monsters with but knives and climbing axes. What's not to like?
Well I am probably not going to change your mind about this movie, but maybe I can give you a better scale by which to judge bad. Like "at least it wasn't as bad as the new Omen movie" or "At least it wasn't as bad as House of the Dead." or better yet "At least it wasn't as bad as The Jar." I mean the monster is a styrofoam demon in a jar, it doesn't do ANYTHING!

Whats not to like? Dialogue, plot, camerawork, atmosphere or lack of all of the above! I've cleverly avoided the Omen (who releases a film based purely on the date?) and house of the dead, but that Jar sounds so bad, it might be good.

Thanks man. Hey do still have copies of Killed? The link in your journal isn't working. If you do would you be willing to do a trade or would you prefer cash?

I love how you draw lips
That's something I've been practicing lately, so of course it's the first thing I notice in any art I see.
They're really pretty.
Your style of lips and `mooncalfe 's style of lips really captivate me.

I just took a look, and yeah. O_O Really nice lips.
O_o Just curious, but are there any artists you'd recommend I see? I suppose that's an odd request, but... *shrugs* If you've got the time...

Well you already know my two favorite artists here: mooncalfe and royalboiler. I think the best strategy for finding good art is checking out what other artist you like are faving. Just go through their favs and see what catches your eye. or go through their friends list.
