Wouldn't that been really awesome that when Bardock confronted Frieza that he would have transformed into a Super Saiyan. Oh well, it just wasn't in the cards I guess for him but I bet he watched on with pride at his youngest son accomplish what he couldn't and defeat the tyrant Frieza.
