I absolutely love this burning of Jesus Christ praying. You can see the passion in this without actually seeing his face. You captured the feeling perfectly. All I can say is WOW! Someday I want to be this good.

I can show you some of my earlier work that is very rudimentary. Β This is a skill like any other that needs to be honed, I see some stuff that other people are able to pull off in the same medium of pyrography and I am amazed. Β Hang in there and keep trying new things, push yourself, even if you fail and you can establish a style that makes you happy and can continue to grow.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I would love to see some of your earlier work. I have noticed that I do seem to get better with each burning I do. I have never thought of myself as being an artist but I am learning more about shading and texture and I always put lots of Love into each of my works. I would appreciate any tips you might have too.
