She only LOOKS wide open!Sorry for the not publishing much in the way of public art lately (I have been drawing just for commissions)
Here is the first rough of my Darkstalkers entries (Probably not the final pose):
For lack of a better name (yet) she is for now: Slime-chan
BTW I decided an opaque slimegirl (mostly) would be easier to render and animate.

The story behind this must be very interesting. As for Mechanics, maybe a snare like ability that could count as a hold? Or maybe something where she goes and makes her hands into a giant hammer to bring down on someone or something?

One of the original images (Never completed) of her had her using and "Engulf Hammer" Traps opponent in a slime (had either Lilith's or Morrigan's legs sticking out of it) and uses the slime and the opponent as the head of the hammer.

Speaking as a games programmer: Translucent sprites are indeed a complete bitch to work with (in both finding a way to implement them and in explaining how to do so to a designer).

You'll probably want to do several sketches of her, in dynamic poses. Her doing an uppercut, blocking, looking tired, etc.

I meant in the final image you submit. Usually winning entries I see for this kind of thing are collage shots. So a picture of her idling, a picture of her attacking, etc.
Picking a fighting style for her would probably be useful. How familiar are you with the Darkstalkers / Vampire Savior games?

That could work. The only "normal" human in the Darkstalkers games is BB Hood.
