I will show you WIPs if you guys ask for it or in other words if the picture is good enough.

Well I did not want to go for the airplane and I did not want to make it look like a flying city because a fortress is somewhat protected. That is why I threw away all the speed painting sketches I made and started drawing this giant ship which is more like one big body with a lot of stuff going on on the outside. Weapons all over the place and radar and a landing platform. Most fun was making a battle scene out of it which sets the mood quite nicely. It could use an extra day for polishing but the weather outside was too good.
