For those that can't tell, it's god-like Amaterasu watching over little Chibiterasu.
There's some rumors floating around that they're mother and pup, so yeah, this can be interpreted in a few ways. Pick whichever you like. xD
Sketched first from two reference pictures, then took pictures (scanner is still screwed up) a few days ago.
Lineart, color, and background was all done today while my car was broken down on the side of an almost deserted road for three hours. 8D
More on that later.
Anyway, inspirations for this came from the songs Shadow of the Day (Linkin Park) and Life of a Salesman (Yellowcard).

Yeah, which is why I'm in need of a tablet.
Mouse/touchpad sucks for...pretty much everything involving digital drawing.
...though it probably has to do with the fact I forgot the black part at first, then went back to try and make it ink-like.
