From my understanding, basically a strong female character in the series, namely Chichi, Bulma, Videl, and Android 18, they become mothers and suddenly they're on the fighting(Or just character in Bulma's case) backburner. They go from being strong female characters in their own right to being the stereotypical stay at home, do all the cooking and cleaning mother.
Bulma and 18 made somewhat of a comeback in their own respective ways in Super, Bulma being one of the most influential(she kept the likes of Beerus and Whis constantly happy with food, and actually convinced them to do things for her to a certain extent), and 18 being a member of Team Universe 7 in the Tournament of Power, but still.
