Description

This site was discovered in the late 1960s. A large amazonian statue adorns the center of what is believed to have been a central plaza. The statue itself has puzzled archeologists since the metalwork and tools required to bend and shape bronze were to be discovered for hundreds of years later and are missing from the site itself.

The overgrown structures around it are speculated to have been part of a temple complex. Although the jungle has claimed most of the city, the layout implies this must have been a bustling metropolis at times gone by. Like other sites (Femuscle Temple ) the origin of the anceitn civilization that build it remains a mystery.
