A Renaissance painting of an unusually muscular girl. The subject bears muscle definition, rarerly seen on works of the Renaissance with a female focus.

Historians have pointed to works like this and others (Hesperides Apple ) as evidence of the use of a proto-Femroid during the late medieval times.

Traces of Hesperides Apple along with those of rose, lavender, sage, and mint were identified in wooden bowls. It is believed that they were mixed together in boiling water, creating a herbal cocktail which could be argued to be the first form of a Performance Enhancing Drug.
