Hm... Not really a ninja artwork, but is it close enough? I decided I should try and post some fanart, of the very little I do... I don't really create much fanart because a lot of the ones I make never really end up looking like who or what they actually are supposed to represent. This drawing was requested by my cousin who wanted a Godzilla in Tokyo, Japan. And being unprepared as I was, I had references for neither the creature or the setting... So this picture was basically drawn from memory somewhat. Yea, I was too lazy to look up some images for reference, but I also wanted to see what I can do from the top of my head.

Godzilla, also known by the name of Gojira, was always and still is one of the best giant monsters (aka Kaiju in Japanese) there is, at least in my opinion. I'm a fan of Godzilla, both the Japanese original and the Hollywood remake (Godzilla '98, aka "Godzilla by name only" to those who don't favor).

For those Kaiju fans out there, I know will scold me and point out every single mistake I have made on this rendering of Godzilla. But do remember that I had no references to work with... I know Godzilla doesn't have horizontal lines running across the neck and belly area, but I guess I put that in so he wouldn't look like a giant green blob, heheh. Is his tail segmented? I dunno... The plates or spikes on his back are really different than the original... I guess my time, back in 7th grade, from drawing the New York version of Godzilla rubbed off onto this one, kinda...

This drawing was another experimentation with colored pencils as well as a commemoration for the success of the Godzilla series, which by now has stopped any newer developments and ended with the movie titled, "Godzilla: Final Wars"--to which I'd like to see sometime. Hopefully this picture doesn't come to a big disappointment to all you Kaiju and Godzilla fans, for that wasn't intentional...
