I decided to upload it from stash in public...because in stash only 4 view....well the link was a bit hidden...and not all people know stash.
The concept easy manipulation tecnically don't exist....well for me is a legend a myth
! Yes of course we can take 2 images and create the work blending them in 4 minutes. But i want talk about the topic......Professional manipulations using images with 99% of compatibility between them!
the creation of works with few images and so to create realistic manip. is really complex because require the use of
images with an high compatibility between them.
So obviously! The best manipulators are those able to produce own images and so with all tones (shadow,
lights, colors) in harmony and with all perspectives perfect at 100%!!! and of course they are also cool blending them.
Their works at the end is that to blend the image without the 1000 issues typical of all us slaves of differents images with differents
charateristics.
The other best manipulator is that able to dominate the world of Mixed-Media...This type of artist dominate manipulation
and drawing....so he/she can use also 100 differents images and his creation will be always cool and realistic.
The "standard" manipulator of course if has a great skill can do great things...but in any case, if he/she go beyond the use of a determined number of images...the problems will be many. SO for us the best manipulations are those with few elements! Well i don't do text
i work with tons of images simply because i hate to be static......i love go beyond standard structures because i love explore the tons of problems back those titanic works...for me is fascinating! Many times for this reason my works are also confusionary and im fully conscious of this! In those works for me, for this reason work with many good precise details is useless and a waste of precious time. SO i must sacrifice them.I prefear more spend time to discover the various tecnical solutions about how complete the structure and the story!
Creating them for this reason, i learn tons of things impossible to be learned with "standard structures". The best advange what is? for me is that when i go to create manipulations with few elements i will complete them fast like the wind with a good precision. All can do this path!
So if i/we standard poor mortals manipulators want create something of professional, we must spit blood to discover perfect images...or if you prefear have ass!
To conclude if you have the ass to discover the right images you can create excellent things with 1% of effort....Like the creation on this page.

Useless others aspects of this work: shadows, reflections, cutout, story etcc...
but also if they were useless i had add something, like the shadow and also the reflection.......There is the reflection
So in the final there is an almost impercetible vision of the dress on the center ground + the partial vision of the face...of course distorted following the same distortion of the original image.
In any case......No one stop you to create an artistic mirror reflection......Oh yes you can. I mean You can broke, in this specific work, the rules of real life. Human brain indeed love see a reflection into a photomanip. because increase the artistic vision. Its a choose.

I think clever manipulators are the ones who find the really, really good pictures. I mean there are thousands of stocks providers, not only on DA but everywhere, and most of them are providing excellent sources of inspiration. But you need more. You need the close-to-perfect pictures that will complete eachother to enhance the global composition and get your work closer to the ideal you started thinking about.
A big time watching/collecting the stocks you're searching for will allow you to create better pieces with few elements. And then the time/skill needed to merge them in a good global rendering in ridiculous. And that's wonderfull.
But i wonder, is this really a big improvement? If you're in a logic of rentability, then yes of course. If you need to improve yourself, maybe working on your "manipulator" skills with all the elements you can find is better. Maybe, it's abit of the two ideas. You have search for highly compatible elements, also compatible with your basic idea/composition (and then improve your "search" skills) and in another hand work with what you have and work alot on it so you can get the results you're searching for. Or maybe again, it's depending on the subjetcs/oportunities, when you can compose with few highly compatible elements go for it, and when you have to work your ass of with a thousand pieces, go for it again.

Yes exactly! For sure impossible discover 30 images with the same charateristics of these 2 used in this work, but of course we can discover 30 images with a good compatibility, good enough to create good things or excellent things and here on DA there are people teach well this concept throught their works
and i know well that also you, do a great excellent effort in this sense!
The best way is for sure to be photographer and manipulator at the same time! and better if you have a studio with actors to create personal stuff by yourself

Yes visually simple but tecnically complex discover images like these.
To create a little thing ok but if you want create articulated manipulations is impossible have 30 images all completely compatibles between them!
There is a general rule: less adjustments layers you use and more the work will be clever. This because when you are going to touch the tonal structure of the image, you are destroing this! In this work i didn't use adjustments layers....So at the end the quality will be at maximum! I know well, many people love painting over

Simple and beautiful indeed, a bit static maybe, but to make it more alive, you have to use more pictures and this, as you said, will require some more efforts, but nothing is for free...
A small tip for photomanip beginners: quite often the cutline is so clear and the object is so outstanding from the background that you have an instant feeling that something is wrong... first of all decrease 10 to 15 % of the opacity of the cut object. That's it, see the difference. There are more serious methods to blend one object into its surroundings - but this one is quick and very effective.

My concept is all focused on tonal harmony-compatibility. The images used here
have an ultra high tonal compatibility....Impossible have this same luck with 20-30 images!
Personally i have a strong thought about this. I think that a manipulation with mistakes but with a solid story and a solid structure and great visual harmony..... many times erase completely all the mistakes...of course if these aren't ultra mega heavy mistakes!!! I do an example. You can work the subject-model 10 hours.....changing her/his colors of eyes, painting hairs, colors etcc...but if there isn't a solid structure, story and visual harmony, the work is automatically failed!!! and goes automatically also in section boring. Like exercise instead all is useful.
REcently i saw an user...pure beginner......with works with wrong and heavy problems with cut-out, blend.......but wow with composition, structure and story most powerfull of recent advanced works and so also interesting!! I was also impressed...but not surprised because i know and i support this type of concept! for me a work all perfect under each aspect but with a structure and story few interesting become a work ultra boring. Im not saying i don't like, but boring!

If we want talk about pure perfection.....i know only 1 guy photomanipulator able to create perfect manipulations...... because he produce perfect images by himself. I bet you know him. When i look manipulations im not interested to see only steril tecniques because they are so fucking boring for me if there arent' important aspects!!!!! I want see an excellent structure, few important little or titanic!!!!! and i want see a good story with a logical visual sense....if there is also an interaction also much better!!!
