Yeah, this one looks a lot simpler than most of the mechs you see nowadays but it's still really cool and original nonetheless.

I like the style of this piece. Normally, when people draw mechwarrior related mechs, it's all boxy and stuff.. yours is like a somewhat in-between of american and japanese mechs

Thanks. There are certainly better mech guys on DA than I, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Maybe I'll do more someday.

ED-209 can eat its "heart" out! How many rockets per salvo? Or are they missiles? For those who don't know, a missile is a rocket with a guidance system. Also, what's the metric diameter of the rockets/missiles? And what caliber is that cannon? Or is that cannon a grenade launcher?

They're missiles. Each missile selects a target and is guided by own an AI protocol. looks like - 25 per salvo. Plasma Cannon.

Yeah, it's cute - everyone thinks that until the first time it steps on a loved one or levels the house with a missile battery, then it's off to the pound where they'll put it to sleep unless it's adopted right away.

That's the problem with mechs, they seem like a nice gift idea, but it seldom works out well!

Thanks, mechanical objects aren't my usual focus, so it's nice to hear.
