Some poses are commonly used to fit characters with the same personality. And some specifuc pose might be specifically cute on for example, toothless. So many people draw that pose. That's what I consider accidental copying.

And I'll believe you. You don't seem like some one who would steal art. You seem too good an artist to bother stealing art. Though, the background of this one could be more interesting. If you haven't improved on that yet, then work on it. Or not, it's your choice but I think you'd improve a lot.
