Well, do you work with watercolours too? Make sure, that you draw very thin lines, so you can't see much of them, when the colour's on. Looks a lot better^^ You have to be very careful while painting small details. Use acrylic paper. It's thicker. You have to put layers on your painting. Begin with a lighter colour und add darker one after a while for shadows or markings. Maybe you have to wait a while before you add another layer.
