Awesome, thanks! Funnily enough, I've been keeping an eye open for a skull shaped mask, because I want to do a character with a skull helmet. That armor makes it a whole lot easier.

Picture was quite simplistic, but thank you. There were a couple of failures in it; dark elves swords metal, orc chain mail and the blue light coming in through the window. It was not my best work and was partly Richmel style with a lot of characters.

Kind of, I use Reality/Luxrender a lot. Sometimes you don't spot things until it has been rendering 20mins or more. It comes to a decision point, start again or let it run. I'm not a perfectionist.
Making real likenesses is the hardest thing with 3D. The Dwarf is very good, when I did my Tyris Flare I had to modify (paint) the bikini texture red on the borders, took me ages.

Well you certainly nailed it. It feels like all the character are balancing on a tight rope and the negotiations might be successful or they might break out in violence at any moment. I certainly wouldn't cross or screw over the big green guy but it seems like the human dude might be thinking about it.

The big green orc made me add the dark elf as the dark lord's bodyguards did not look tough enough! You can't really parry a mace being swung with the weight of a cow behind it, and the armour... It would be like hitting a tin can with a baseball bat

Yeah, the dark elf is the only one on the dark lords side that could possibly stand up to the orc. It would be classic speed vs power confrontation, although given that she's on her knees she would be at a distinct disadvantage. I would bet on the orc to prevail if they were to start fighting right this second.

I was caught between a giant (think Death Adder in Golden Axe) as the dark lord, a demonic creature or a human. After your comments I think the dark lod and his team are not intimidating enough, maybe the orc will leave a pile of corpses.

I could see this guy being the third generation, with his grandfather being the Death Adder like one who built the empire and inspired fear in people. The current dark lord might not be completely useless but he is more or less coasting by on his families reputation and some random cruelty. Unfortunately he's facing someone who doesn't care about his faimlies rep. In fact I could easily see his most effective bodyguard, the dark elf, being a mercenary loyal to his coin rather than him.
So yeah, the orc should make mincemeat out of these guys, however I'm also sure the orc would have the control to leave the two women alive as spoils of his victory.

I was tempted to make an image with the two girls at the mercy of the orc from what you said, but I think I will do the Death Adder one in the near future. Make a more menacing dark lord.

Yeah the girls at the mercy of the orc seems like it would be a fairly natural outcome for the scene.
A scene with a Death Adder like dark lord would be cool as well. The real, menacing dark lord striking a bargain would provide a nice contrast to the current dark lord. After all a real dark lord would be dragging off other rulers women not allowing two of his to be claimed by an orc and dragged off as the spoils of victory.

The Death Adder will happen, as I've made Tyris Flare and I have a slightly decent Death Adder. The downside of 3D being you are using pre-built items which you will know if you played with Daz.

That's really cool.
Yeah being stuck with only prebuilt items can feel confining at times, but my drawing skills are not good. So daz works much better than them even with its limitations.
Death Adder and Tyris together sounds like a winner, looking forward to it.
