Thanks C: I really like her too XD (and yeah I feel ya, I have like 20 more characters ive thought of that I need to design, this is only like the 7th one ive ever been able to finish XD

Yeaaaaaah I still have the design for him too mostly planned I just don't know if I want to do it XD He would just be Kamina, because I loooooooooove Kamina especially his design and how good of a brother character he is. So I would just make him like Kamina but with a more medieval outfit but still have sunglasses for some reason, but I'd feel like I was stealing =3= so I don't know if I will make him.

Yeah I didn't know that Garterbelt was named after underwear either XD I always thought it was weird that all the other PSG characters were underwear and then he just had a weird name, but it turns out I just didn't know what a garterbelt was.

For the longest time I didn't even know who Kamina was so I looked it up one day... may have to get around to watching that show to see if it's any good
Stealing, huh? I sometimes feel that way myself, even if I only copy like the colours or something minor like that, but if that's the only problem you have with making the brother why don't you just make him less like Kamina?

Nah xD Harems are gross. I don't really see the point in making flat chested characters ever. Even girls that are supposed to be more innocent and cute look better with big boobs like Ember. If you can design a character to be however you want then why small boobs for any reason xD I feel like I make way too many male characters. So I'm trying to make more girls lately. I feel like as I have it planned now there's only gonna be like 5 girl characters. I have like 30 male characters planned xD So far my boy/girl ratio I've actually finalized and shown is even at 3 to 3 so I'll just try to keep it even. I haven't really had a need to draw other main villains yet because I only ever do funny comics and even if I do need to use a villain for the joke I can just use Ize so xD

And well armor makes no different for any character realistically. It's like Dragonball level stuff so the characters bodies themselves are the resilient part that takes the hits. The armor would just rip up anyway, nothing would be strong enough to actually be usable armor. Draco's cape is the only clothing piece that actually has a use because it's made of dragon scales too so it's as tough as he is.

And oh really? XD that sucks. theyre really cute and a cool looking detail to add to stockings. I had no idea a Garterbelt was even a thing until yesterday XD I just thought it was the same thing as stockings.

You say it isn't a harem but technically it is, of course you didn't mean for it.

The number of girls/boys needed for a harem is anything over the number of 3 people crazy about the protagonist, the protagonist is either too dense to notice the girls like him or is too humble to take advantage which can enrage people when the protagonist is indifferent about a genuinely nice girl like cinder for example....although I wish I had another example cause it doesn't really prove my point cause she doesn't entirely get the short end of the stick given she's a succubus.

The same reason a person chooses a underdog vs a super man. Or why I think Simon was a better character than kania until the last have when he pretended to be him. Or why u choose gerran laggan over gundam.

The reason you would make a flat chested character would be the same reason you would make a racially different or sexually oriented character,simply because they represent a real majority of people in a fantasy world and clashing opinions,these clashing opinions not only resonate with regular people but makes their struggles and conflicts worth it to you're viewers, giving people variety to not like the same character. People love to watch people like themselves succeed(it's the reason why people make characters based on themselves). Every woman having the average "sexy woman" body is boring to those people who don't and it can only get you so far till it turns people away.
A woman without boobs doesn't have to be innocent but they will fill insecurity towards the quakey round rival.

This isn't much what you want vs what is relatible. All of these things are what make different characters different. And the people attached to those differences will be the most loyal readers cause they genuinely care about a certain characters out come.

Without this diversity it makes draco's decision on girl even more enraging cause he always attracts the same figure of woman making it hard to give them issues or insecurities and making draco seem more obnoxious then you EVER want him to be by mistake.

Not a lot of girls know what it's like to have huge knockers and looked over because of it. Plus it adds a little to the "love what's on the inside" romance.

It may seem pointless to you but that's the point, it's about other people, not about what floats your boat but other people's boats xD.

My character 'clover flower' is a fan favorite and she's as flat as a board. The cute comes in not as in looks but in personality and that figure of flat chested is what I use as fuel for her personality. Makes the comedy more than simple induendoes.

That clothing thing could become a writing issue later in terms of balance, given anything is better than nothing, not like she's a succubus. But I digress.

Well by that logic everythings a harem then XD Dragonball is because at some point in the series chichi, bulma, princess snake etc liked him. Ichigo had Rukia, Orihime, and one of the fullbringer girls all be pretty crazy about him. Fairy tail Natsu has Lucy and Lisanna but hes also had a few slightly romantic moments with Erza at times. Spider-mans had like 50 love interests throughout the course of that as has almost every long running Marvel/DC comic character. Fire Emblem every single character has 10 or so possible love interests they can end up with. Etc. Almost every story has the character deciding between multiple girls/boys throughout the series before they end up with the main girl.
The main girl would be Cinder in Draco's case. Probably, I haven't 100% decided but I think they're the cutest together and are the best couple and understand and care about each other the most so I think they'll end up together.

I understand and agree with what you're saying about the diversity thing though. Many of the later characters will be diverse, most of the characters aren't even the same species, theres plenty of Humans, dragons, demons, succubuses, aliens, gods, goddesses, etc. and I do like to use different builds for body types, Draco is more of a slim but still kinda muscular look, like Spider-Man he's not ripped or anything and he starts out really average and not heroic looking but he trains a lot so he gets kinda strong looking, where as some other later characters will be super muscular DBZ level, Ize is really tall and hunched and boney thin gross looking, and Ember is decently curvy too but shes really really short. Cinder and Scarlet have similar body types because that's the type that fits them. Cinder was born a succubus but never wanted to be and doesn't feel like she fits in and hates how people treat her because of it and feels like everyone looks at her like shes slutty or too sexual but she didn't have the choice she was just born like that and Draco is a really innocent character that doesn't think in that way sorta like how Kid Goku does but on top of it hes scared of girls so Cinder really likes him for it and wants to be with him becauses hes the only person that didn't treat her like a sex object so she has to look really sexualized, and Scarlet is just supposed to fit the sexy evil villain role like a temptress. A Harley Quinn or Tharja or Minerva or Black Cat and so on. Dracos really attracted to her and kind of has a crush on her but really really doesn't want to be and gets conflicted about liking her all the time because he hates who she is.

So its not so much that every girl will have a sexy body its moreso that I've only shown love interest female characters and they all have to be attractive to Draco xD Most less important or different role oriented girl characters will just look average or have a weird body type.

and Really with Cinder it is more of a "Love whats on the inside thing" just in reverse sorta. Because I personally am super grossed out by and kinda hate slutty or sexually dressed women. So Draco would too. Cinder isn't actually like that though its just that she needs to be because of what she is. He ends up getting past that and liking her personality more and more throughout the series.

I know that being flat can still be awesome and everything XD I mean for example my two favorite fairy tail girl characters are Erza whos almost always fully covered in armor and not sexualized at all (other than when the out of character fan service stuff happens) and Levy who is the least curvy girl in the entire show. Levy is actually the only girl I even somewhat ship with anyone XD I really love her and Gajeel together. Its just that Ember, Cinder and Scarlet were all designed to be really attractive characters and boobs add a lot to that xD they can still have personalities and deep issues and also still be hot.

Scarlet's clothing is just supposed to be a menacing evil girl look while still being attractive enough to fit the temptress role and I think it pulls that off pretty well.

But no don't worry about it at all! I really do like talking about design and writing and this type of stuff in general and hearing other peoples views too. Especially in longer detail like this and without like holding back in any way. Its better to have someone tell you they have an issue with the design and me work harder on it than for everyone to say it looks great and then not fix any problems there might be because I never noticed them because I personally just liked it.

I also hope that maybe my side cleared some stuff up with you too and made it seem less harem'y XD

But theres a difference between romance and a harem ichigo doesn't have a harem because his love interest possibly love more than just him and it's not one sided.
Rukia and renji could be a couple and orhime and that glasses guy(or even ulcihora) at some points could be considered love interest. The fullbring arc girl could be a harem girl though. And dbz lasted soooooo long it can't help it's self. I can think of 20 animes that aren't harems most of them being romantic comedies where you expect it to happen. A big one that comes to mind that i know is gurren laggan. So not really its just people don't know how to make characters less dense then a rock.

Erza is a terrible example she is sexualized every 10 minutes with her powers of cosplaying armor, in that aspect she's worst than lucy.

Compare fairy tail to "to love ru " and you'll see what i mean When i say characters that exist only for one human being.

But it is weird that I've made two really sexual girl characters because I really hate that look in real life. I just think it's better looking and more interesting on fictional characters I guess.

XDD Well yeah but all evil medieval armors are sexualized in like any video game or anime. I just didn't want her to look like a hooker XD I was kinda going for a Tharja type of outfit from fire emblem sorta cause she's the hottest evil character I could think of.

And yeah that's true! I never really thought about what it specifically looked like before but I do love all his outfits. That's kinda what I was going for too. Like armored and menacing and evil looking, but still revealing and attractive, I also like to keep a Medieval Europe/tribal/old Japanese/Ancient theme just you know, Dragon times xD The main inspiration for her outfit was probably Tharja from Fire Emblem Awakening. Just for the sexy evil girl look and the ... I don't know what you'd call it... Fishnet'y stuff on the legs and arms xD
