Description
The USAF "Thunderbirds" demonstrating their "mirror pass" in their F-16 Falcons at the "Thunder Over The Boardwalk" air show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Aug 17th 2011.This was not edited to make them look closer. They are ACTUALLY that close! Notice the number 5 on the bottom plane is painted upside down since that is his usual position!

I know how that can be. The last time I saw them they did that pass a few times and I only had one that was right. One was blurred and the other they were already splitting up. Sadly I have no clue where those photos are now. Had network issues and everything is still scrambled.

Damn! That sucks! I'm going to another show with the Blue Angels next weekend in Maryland, so hopefully I'll get some great shots and some video too!

Ah I get to wait till SF Fleet Week in October to see them. I live just north of SF CA. Going to be out watching their practice flights and the show that Sunday. I think I might be seeing the Thunder Birds in a few weeks. Looks like I am also seeing the Snow Birds too this year.

The planes are not directly over each other, the bottom plane is closer to the camera than it looks.

I believe their wings overlap, but not the entire plane.
