Seeing how huge dragon is compared to donkey, i'm amazed donkey hasn't been badly hurt by her.

This is also true. but it does explain why she was gone in the second movie until the end. Makes you wonder how many dangerous close calls Donkey had to go through when staying with dragon.

For some reason though, seeing the two reminds me of an episode of an old show I used to watch, something called samurai jack. In that show there was also a red dragon of all things XD.

Well...to be honest, that dragon is actually a dragoness...at least I think so XD. The episode the dragon was in was rather weird to be honest though.

Well, best way to put it is the episode was like osmosis jones, with the main character going inside the dragoness (In samurai jack) To try and help her aching gut.
