Description Alright... the other day I came across a tutorial in which I found was more of a rant than an actual tutorial... and sort of had a throw my two cents in. BUT now rather than just being a twat about it, since I've actually never posted a tutorial, I thought I'd put my knuckles in and make one instead of just being full of hot air.

I formally studied art for 10 years and have been arting ever since I could hold a pencil. Granted I didn't start much in "cartooning" or illustrating for kids until I was in college (so its something I still learning every day... though I've always wanted to be an illustrator/animator... ahhh shrugs strange), I use focus on drawing from life and still lives. One of the biggest things I learned is actually artists tend to have a hard time describing things into words. We work more visual which is why we are usually awkward. So making tutorials can be challenging sometimes because we forget to tell people how we do things (because honestly... we don't think about it... we just do it).

So this is just a basic tutorial of how I sketch poses. It's sort of just basic I know but it's better to break things down; and I know some of my watchers wouldn't mind something seeing something broken down this far. There are many techniques out there for drawing figures... this is just the one I have always used the most (my aunt was married to an animator when I was a kid... so it's just the style that as always stuck with me). I hope it's helpful.
