The M18 Assault Rifle was one of three competing designs submitted to the Draconian Armed Forces in 1993 for trials to replace the aging M15 Assault rifle. After many field and reliability tests, the M18 came out on top and became the new standard service rifle of the Draconian Armed Forces in 1994. The gun features stronger materials for the handguard, receiver, and barrel. A light-weight stock and rail attachment system were added so that a soldier can make the rifle more comfortable to use. The magazine was also carefully designed in order to make reloading easier.
