Description
This large amphibian roams the shorelines of the Fire Region, snapping up fish and small invertebrates with its powerful jaws. They are rarely seen by the native villagers, so it is unknown how many of them exist in the wild. The green bio-luminescent markings on their heads, toes and back are a signal to ward off predators underwater. Some villagers claim to have seen these creatures spew fire from their mouths, but there is very little evidence to support this. When females are pregnant, their bellies glow a bright orange, giving the illusion of "moving lights" during the night time.
