Description
These little critters are so simple to make I couldn't resist! The prices are the same, 12 points each.
Located in the caves along the Okotoan mountain ranges are the Nejarbi, the hardiest and shiniest of all the Guaftoids. Their bright silver bodies would give them away to predators during the daytime, making a nocturnal lifestyle the best option. However both their colouration and activity are not factors determined by Okoto itself, but rather Okoto's moons. While Nejarbi are classed as terrestrial organisms, they in fact originate from Okoto's twin moons. Once every few years during spawning season, thousands of Nejarbi from the moons will attach themselves to passing comets which carry them over Okoto, where they then rain down upon the land like metallic sleet. Much like felines on Earth Nejarbi always manage to land feet down, despite their large heads. The reason they make their homes in the mountains is because the terrain is most similar to the moons. After spending most of their lives on Okoto they will mate and catch another comet back to the moons where the cycle begins again. The arrival of the Toa was a significant disruption to this cycle, and many Nejarbi flung themselves into deep space after mistaking the size of the Toa comets.
Nejurpo are a very rare species of Guaftoid, occasionally seen in the Fire and Jungle Regions. Their slightly smaller bodies and red eyes are what differentiate them from other Guaftoids, however the reason for these altered features is unknown. Aside from being seldom seen, they are the only purported Guaftoids that are capable of loud booming vocalisations that can be heard echoing across the Jungle and Fire Regions. It sounds nothing like the traditional mating chirp of a Guaftoid, so the exact purpose of this booming remains a mystery. Unlike other Guaftoids which usually don't react to the presence of Villagers in their domain, Nejurpo scatter very easily upon contact. However like some other Guaftoids it is known that they live in family groups of up to five, and spend their days foraging for small edibles.
(If anyone couldn't guess Nejarbi is a reference to Shadow Moon)
