I'm probably the only one who understands what this thing is saying. *is a bad teacher*
Anyhoo, this is how I paint but not necessarily how YOU should paint. Just experiment with things and find what suits you, kay? D: *fears passing on bad habits*
So yeah. This painting thingy isn't suppose to be complicated. If anything, it should make sense. But it is kinda tedious, even if you do have uber awesome programs.

edit 2012: lolol people keep adding this to their collections, so I gotta put a disclaimer here saying it's actually totally fine to use white "paint" instead of an opaque eraser, and that it depends on what you want your layer to look like, but that's kind of intuitive anyways and you probably knew already.
