Whew!! This guy's finally done!I really loved drawing this, I've been playing with the idea of making a snowmobile like a dog for a really long time, but I was not sure how to approach it, so I animated it! I learned lots about timing and anticipation and stuff, and I had a great time making this
I WANT ONE OF THESE, it'd be like your best winter companion

Oh yes! I animate in gimp too so I use the playback option a lot. It's helpful for that exact reason.Β Β Β I'm also coloring the animation i'm working in which means I have to color everything frame by frame. The background however is transparent.

You have to type "(replace)" after each layer name for them not to overlap. (Without the quotation marks but with the parenthesis)Β

Make sure you put a space in between the layer name and the (replace). Β It would look like this:

Yeah, I grew up in the country, and in Canada you see these things EVERYWHERE. Made me think a bit of sled dogs, and how the original name for the skidoo was the 'ski-dog' so that's the inspiration behind this
