I took a bit of a different take on it -

See, that's my character Rave. He's not an assassin, but not an upstanding citizen, either. Currently, this incarnation of him is on the run from the local guard for a few things. So as to not get caught, he's about to kill this one.

Now, the weird thingy on the left (the green thingy) is one of the demons from his culture. And it just wants to see blood because it's demented like that. And the person thing on the right is his god and he's scolding Rave for not using his powers (he has powers) for such a trivial little murder.
