Flyer vs blackbirdWhen I said in the last Livestream, what you see isn't what gets submitted, this is what I meant. I didn't like the original perspective, so I changed it.

Wow, this is REALLY cool. Very interesting take on our good friend, Flyer. Love the details. Love the scenery as well. I hope Flyer gets away from that bird. Maybe a nectar boost will speed him up.

Thanks. Flyer has been up against the wasp gang and bug spray but I've never seen him against a bird, which gave me this idea.

Yeah, that's a really good idea. Also, I've been meaning to ask you something. I was wondering if there is some way I could have you do a journal skin for me of Pierre? Are you open for doing any more of them, or taking commissions, or anything like that?

I haven't opened any commissions as of yet, and the ones I've been doing for others have been experiments. I'm currently developing a new type of animated journal skin, so when I'm ready, I'll let you know.

Thanks. I'd always wondered what would happen if Flyer was up against a bird. As for the expressions, I wasn't sure how to apply this to a realistic version of Flyer. In the end, I thought about exaggerating expressions. I had a look at Digimon, especially Tentamon, to get some ideas of how to do this.

Thanks. The original perspective looked "visual beige" to me, so I brought Flyer closer to the front and put the scene at an angle.

I've a Red Kite and an European Robin character but I still got stumped trying to draw a blackbird. But I've beaten it!
