Description asked me for an art trade, which I haven't done in years! I figured that it was about time, so I accepted. :3

She asked for a picture of her Hunter, Yuki, and a good old fashioned Charger from Left 4 Dead, so I whipped something together. Infected are pretty neat, in the long run.

(Good practice with the crowquill pen, too -- haven't used that in months!)

Left 4 Dead is © Valve
Yuki's character belongs to her, while Hunters are © Valve

Love what you've done with the textures here! The big blotches of color on his arms and the way you did the blood are especially appealing to me, great work!

So glad that you enjoy it! I hope that making your character less chibi and downplaying the anthro ears and tail were okay... I was considering how to deal with those aspects and felt that trying to stick to the Valve-version of the Hunter would make more sense, given that I was doodling a normal Charger!

Excellent! The Hunter was supposed to blend in with the background more than the Charger was. I figure it for a combo attack; the Charger makes a pass at the survivor, luring attention, and the Hunter leaps off at one survivor or another in the meantime to avoid detection!

I blame for the colours! They're quite gorgeous, I think!

Croquill Pens are those that you dip into an ink well, often used for things like calligraphy. They allow you to use different colours if you like, or different widths of line. The linework they produce is more organic than that from pens like Microns and Staedler pens, however, they're a pain in the butt to clean sometimes and have a tendency to clog!

No problem! You should give them a try some time if you get the chance. They can be a lot of fun to work with.
