Yeah it can be really beautiful I walk on it every day to and from school, and I even walk by a lake on the way

I know ^^ I love the Galloping Goose trail. It heads all the way from downtown Victoria all the way up to Sooke to an old gold mining town. (Long abandoned)
It used to be a railroad track. When the gold ran dry, they ripped out the tracks and made it into a regional trail.

Lol well there aren't many actual standing buildings left. It's from 1864, so all that's really left is like.. a broken shack or 2 and I think an old train engine was there? I dunno, it's been a few years since I've been up there. I'm going back this summer for a visit. It's a looong bikeride though
