so I pretty much still only draw my oc Rhikter like the trash I am//

but I haven't done a colored digital piece of him in.... literal years? Since this crap ? So I sort of put some effort into this. I wonder if I'll ever do clean lines. Probably not. This is my current struggle to figure out what the heck kind of style I'm gonna have and do things in

So I've thought a lot about updating his design and changing him, and I decided against it. I've only just started to try and figure out what the hell his facial structure is supposed to be (desperately trying to crawl out of the pit of all-the-same anime faces) and things like his cheesy snake bites and classic black anime dude hair are his character to me, and if I changed that then I don't think I'd recognize him. Plus, if he's supposed to be eternally age 17, having basic hair and snake bites seems to somehow suit the eternal teenager.

Er, I guess it's been years and years since I really said anything about my main OC--he's essentially the male representation of myself, and in a way he'd been my guardian angel for years now. Sort of the face I give to the voice of reason in my head.

As far as his personal background, he's a Russian-British half-vampire who leads his life sort of "taking out trash" by transporting dangerous monsters and humanoids to an alternate dimension that I used to call the "Shadowlands" back when I was young and uncreative with names for places. His half-brother, Nameless , is sort of a leader amongst this other dimension. Nameless is an embodiment of evil, and being Rhikter's half brother, this shows Rhikter's got quite a predisposition to violence and anger. Through stories I've yet to write, Rhitker abandoned his family and now lives in various forest cabins with his trusty weapon-critter, Noir.

Rhikter shares the same serpent arm branding that his brother has, only on his left arm.

I haven't written very much about Rhikter's adventures but if you are curious ....
