This is really nice! I'm still not quite sure how one mixes chalk and acrylic, but I like the effects!

Did you put some thing over the piece to protect it after you finished? (Chalk isn't some thing I'd consider using on a permanent piece of art). Although seeing were you made use of it and considering the why behind it, it works great .

There's really very little chalk on it, 90% of it's thin white paint.
I just rub a some chalk in to it to give it a little glow here and there, then seal it with hairspray.
