ANIME: Pokemon.CHARACTER: Treecko.

Just a quickie
(although it did take me a few hours in the end. -_-). But I really did need to get back into my colouring since I haven't done any real art since Christmas. 
Anyways, while I was struggling with other artworks, I had this reference picture staring me in the face the whole time!!
Eventually it nagged me so much that I was forced to draw this in the end. 
But it's fine 'cause I have a HUGE soft spot for Ash's Treecko!! 
Most of my favs run towards the legendary types most of the time, but Treecko's one of the 'regular' kinds that I'm very attached to. *^^* That reserved but courageous nature of his gets me everytime!!! ***********************************************

That cloudy effect in the background is very easy too. All you do is take a coloured pencil and sharpen the tip with a sharpener, then take those sharpenings and scatter them over your paper, and using your finger, you just rub them in circles till you get that effect.

A bit of practice? XD;; I've been coloring for a while... okay, not for that long, but it's hard to get that effect. ._. You're welcome once more. XP Oh, yeah, I remember seeing realistic looking Pokemon. o . O;;;
