ANIME: Legendz: Tale of the Dragon Kings~
CHARACTERS: OC Hadyn & Greedo~

You know what I love? Not having internet! Thanks, Service Provider! At least you're back now~

W00T!! After many hours of attempting even more different styles, I finally finished this!! Even more Legendz fanart!!! Darn, it feels so good to be in this fandom again!! Not that I ever left it, but you know what I mean. We all find new tastes in other things, but this is a fandom I can always get back into any time!! Anyhoo, so what brought upon this little piece?? Well a few things in fact: 1. The Anime of course 2. Talking about it with a really good friend 3. I had received a beautiful image of this handsome fella of mine as a birthday gift from Cosmos-Kitty ! Thanks so much, Dawn!! (I'll get to those e-mails, I promise) So yeah, plain and simply, back into he fandom, discussions with good pal, inspired by b-day image... It really made me think a lot of Greedo and his new Hi no Saga I made for him. And just got to realizing how much I actually adore these two. Hadyn is without a doubt one of my best fleshed out OCs so far; I understand his personality and intentions and where I wish to take him in the story, and ever since I saw this one image of Dino, that this is heavily referenced from, floating around on the net (I cannot for the life of me find it again otherwise I'd have left a link) I've wanted to recreate the pic with Hadyn and Greedo cause of how beautifully it was done, and well... thought now was the best time to. Simple as that. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand, this image also has a lovely little song to go with it~

Precious Rose from the Gundam SEED series (I just wanna point out that I'm not a fan of the Anime but during its time back when it was aired on Animax, I did find myself liking some of the music from it, and even though I never watched far enough into the series, while looking for some of the songs, I stumbled upon this beauty that caught my attention initially by its title (fans will understand the connection) but when I looked into the translated lyrics, they actually fit these two characters almost to a T and I simply had to include it in the pic and even listen to it a bunch of time's whilst drawing and colouring the image) =

Now before I link the song, I just want to note that the one I was aiming was this one that I altered the pitch to to so it would have a little more masculinity (or at least heard as androgenous) to it which I found more befitting Hadyn and Greedo (heck, the background singing even sounds a bit like Greedo to me)

Oddly enough, the Gundam songs work well for their own genre cause they actually sound all like robotic/spacey kinda... sounds. Which makes them generally difficult to fit to outside fandoms, but this works fine, I think. So yeah...

It's kinda funny how I chose to introduce an image that displays such raw emotions from a character whose initial pic showed him quite macho-looking and this is, what, his second or third image?? Wow. But yeah, again, I wanted to show a different side to my fiery character that and I honestly been feeling the same way for a past few weeks but that's for another time. Hadyn can be stand-offish, scowly, not always have much to say but when he does, he can be pretty blunt ... Buuuut, he also goes through a lot like most people, and like most people, is human, and has human emotions too. Because of the constant concern for his missing uncle and always feeling helpless or not being strong enough to fight off enemy Legendz because of Greedo still in his unawakened form... Yeah, that could upset anyone. So yeah, poor Hi no Saga... (hugs) Greedo's unawakened form isn't the best tbh. :/ I maybe shoulda drawn a bit of his jacket too cause he looks a bit... flat, I dunno. And I also made a boo boo... How is there still a rose when Greedo's there...??
