Description
My newest cosplay featuring Alopex from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle IDW Comic Franchise. Her debut was at Anime Boston 2016 but she was a rush job I put together in under a week. I will be renovating her armor and clothing for Rhode Island ComicCon later this year.Imporant things to note about this costume are the head base which I purchased the resin black from DreamVisionCreations. The taxidermy jaw set, resin claws, and latex pawpads and nose were also from DVC. I painted the eyes myself. (with spraypaint believe it or not) and constructed the entire costume on about 5 days. (I didn't get much sleep to say the least) She does have a fan in the muzzle and the jaw does move pretty well to the point I can sip on a bottle of water which is a nice plus. Digitigrade padding is removable for easy cleaning (She's white after all) and there is a wire armature in her tail for a nice realistic bounce... and yes... it is VERY FLOOFY!
Alopex is not my character. She is a mutant arctic fox from the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Franchise and was one of the first new characters Kevin Eastman has designed.Β

Really nice!! I've actually been slowly purchasing materials for my own Alopex fursuit, it's nice to know I'm not the only person who wants to do this!!
Any tips you can provide, or any problems you ran into while making yours?

This may be WAAAAY to little too late. (sorry for the long hiatus) but the really tricky part on her was probably the tail. I made a wire frame that's bolted to a round block of wood (bullnosed around the edgesΒ for comfort against my back) and sewed but of the fur to the frame so it will always remain "full" and poofy, but I also lined it and installed a zipper on the bottom of it so I can remove the stuffing and collapse the frame and fabric for easier storage.

Thanks a lot! >:3 better late! I'm really excited to start working on mine..
The plan for mine is to make the suit from her post-Kitsune arc, so her markings would be light blue and slightly different :3Β

For a rush job, she looked fantastic. I would have stopped and chatted, but I had to get back to my hotel room to feed my dog and take him out.
