This monitor was pacing in its exhibit, moving too much for a good shot. So a person and I sat down in front of the glass. Suddenly, it stopped and fixed its gaze on them like it was staring into their soul. It held its stare for a while before growing bored.Perentie Monitor (Varanus giganteus)
