Yeah, I don't care what you say! I support a CanonxOC couple, and I'm proud of it!
No, I didn't make this stamp because someone flamed my OC/couple. No one has really had a chance to, what with the fact that I only have one actual picture of her. XD I really just made this stamp for the heck of it. And the concept just really fit me. :3
My canonxOC couple is DragaraxBeast Boy, and I think that's the only one I support, but still. I know that whenever I do post up more art of her and BB, SOMEONE's gonna flame me, but I don't care. It's my OC. I can pair her with who I want to. And also, i'm allowing comments for now, but one flame and comments will be disabled.

I agree on some parts but had to disgree a teensy bit. I don't want toΒ be too much of a canon Nazi, but some characters don't need love interests or even deserve one. Romance can be experienced to everyone, but that doesn't mean it is alwaysΒ perfect for them. It depends on personality and their views towards romance. Some characters don't have an interest of romance or prefer to be more independent with no need for someone special to be in their life. Also, some characters won't work well in romantic relationships or will make it one-sided. Characters that are cruel, psychopaths, sadistic or just generally treat others like trash don't deserve a love interest. I'm not saying you are wrong, but I'm just saying that romance is suitable for everybody. If you like OC X Canon, it's fine, but it isn't my cup of tea.

I like OC x Canon pairings myself. In fact, I'm in a role-play where I paired myself with Wonder Blue, a canon character from Wonderful 101.
But of course, I'll only like these kinds of pairings if they're not poorly done for the wrong reasons.

assume a character is bisexual or pansexual until stated explicitly otherwise. easy way to claim the legitimacy of your couple (especially since rarely a character is advertised as exclusively straight)

I agree. I cannot stand when people make a canon character homosexual/straight to fit.
Though many, many stories have shown that sometimes loners just need the right person to come along.
I think the only times I have fallen for an OCxCanon pairing is in Bioware games. :sweat:

True, but there are many 'hermits' and such in stories that in the end, end up at least with a best friend out of the annoyance.
I've always liked that sort of storyline. Kind of like Beauty and the Beast.
