Description Tod (c) Disney

Same drill as before, based on an early still from the film.
This time with a bit more 'faux-inking'... >.>

The inking (if you care to call it that) is in fact very loose, as I have... well, never really tried it before and am not precisely sure what it's all about yet. Also, I have an feeling that SketchBook Pro might not be the best program for that, but then I really wouldn't know. I'm fairly happy with certain elements of this sketch: the mouth and jaw came out looking more refined than the last one, and I accentuated the fur ridges just a bit a more. I roughed in some black shading on a second layer and am fairly pleased with the way the ears turned out.

On the flipside, I had a heckuva time dealing with the paws, particularly with each one having a slightly different orientation with respect to the 'camera'; consequently, each of my renditions is annoyingly different. Also, I somehow botched up the proportions on the tail and it came out too small compared to the reference, although it is still plausible given his pose.

Just as a side note, the first rough sketch and bolder outlines are in fact on separate layers. However, as this isn't intended to represent a finished piece, I kept the layer with the original sketch visible; I think it's more useful that way.
