Here is the finished image for *AbramWinterSmith . He has invented this character (“Chef Carter“) and I have drawn it. I hope you like it.Towards the end, I was a little annoyed. I had almost finished the shading and then fell out of power
. I had to do everything again…. I started the song "Around The World / Harder Better Faster Stronger" from Daft Punk [link]
and started with new power.but hopefully it was worth

Um...wow....**Laughs** I'm still shivering over here, wondering what I could possibly do to show my appreciation beyond just my friendship and support...you got that before this animation cel was even completed...and the quality is that....damn....good.

"14 Years ago, I was abducted from one of my restaurants in London....and brought to a mysterious island...someplace in the middle of one of the oceans, I don't bloody know where. I arrived a broken and beaten man...and then the weird stuff began happening...
As I lived my days out I discovered the nature of the place, and my attitude changed....as did my body and my soul....I found my love for life again, adopted and started a new family when I couldn't back in my former home, and grew....matured....evolved...
We all were happy as we spent our days, weeks, months, and eventually years....but even though we were all tight and loved one another as if we were all flesh and blood, something lingered in the backs of our minds...
We all eventually would have to go home...
...except for me...I was too far gone.
I defended our home and the island to the point where I was far beyond going back to where I came from, but still I returned to the world very similar to the one I left behind....
...it's a lot fuzzier...but it's still home....and I know where The Cottage is....it's waiting for me....
Feels damn good to have just two legs again, and I never have to worry about shaving again...heh.
I'm not sure if I'll see my old family again, but I have a feeling I'll be making new friends here...and possibly recognizing those who knew me before my disappearance...two things I know for sure: they're not going to go hungry....and they'll have to learn to expect the unexpected....even I will have to relearn that..."
The former kittymorph looked up to the moon, his silver and blue eyes gleaming....though no longer glowing....and smiled, walking toward home...

I've not been to a Sushi Assembly-Line Style Restaurant, but I've been to buffets where they make the sushi while you wait...and you can get all your other favorites, too.
I may need to go out and get some Chinese Food, though...I've been craving that....

You put a lot of effort into this and I can clearly recognize that, right off the bat. Between all the WIPs and such, you really made it a priority to make this as best as it can be and it is my personal belief that you have achieved that.

Believe me, I do...
He's actually a character I play on an online game...Improbable Island. Over the last couple of years he's grown to be quite well-known...he's evolved a lot...and his description has likewise evolved.
What Dragendorf did was similar to something out of science fiction: it was as if he reached into my brain and saw how I saw Chef Albert W. Carter....and the rest is history. ^_^
He's done an AMAZING job, and I cannot thank him enough....you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be a firm supporter of him on DeviantArt and help wherever I can.
I'm actually inspired to do some special stories concerning this piece and taking him on a series of adventures....we'll see how that turns out.
