I love the cloud cover in the background, since it really utilizes layers well and builds upon that subtle yet strong foundation of depth. The way the rays of sunlight are peaking out from that cloud cover is nicely executed, combined with the character illustration itself that really stands out well thanks to a storybook-like semi-textured style.
