Description

I am thoroughly baffled by how well the last character dump did. Like ????? Was it the concept, the content, a particular character? Was it the catboy? Do you guys like the catboy??

Anyways, this one's a lil different. I wanted to take some time to flesh out one of my neglected anthro critters, Elmo. They're based off a prompt given to me by PeterTheWolverine (toyhou.se/PeterTheWolverine ). I wrote up a little something for them a bit back, but, as per usual, it's pretty small and will likely be subject to change.

"A rather prickly little goat-creature that spends an inordinate amount of time fiddling with their laptop in the cafe. A computer whiz, likely not averse to using their skills for a bit of shady business. They're a work-driven person, to the point that they rarely make time for anything else, which has resulted in practically all of their social ties being cut. It's unclear if this bothers them or not but they don't seem keen on trying to change things."

Maybe doing shady stuff on cafe Wi-Fi isn't a great idea. I wouldn't know, I've never tried it.

The peanut gallery in the bottom-left corner is some re-imaginings of old sketchbook doodles, including my first post here. He was always meant to have frosted tips, I just didn't have the slightest idea of how to go about it when I first drew him. Not that I know what I'm doing now. Better than it was, at least.. I hope it reads properly.

If you don't already keep your old sketchbooks, please do! I sift through my old stuff rather frequently, and I've found that younger me had some good ideas buried in there, they just weren't executed so well. It always feels good to take those hidden gems and present them a little better, then to look back and see how far you've come.

I intend to get back to my usual lineart soon, by the way. While I can do this sort of lineart quicker I'm more fond of my other method.
