Description
This is a product of what happens when I can't fall asleep and am a little bit over-excited from finishing the first part of my sketch for ~lilfirebender 's contest.I feel so motivated and alive!
It might be colored with colored pencils, or I might attempt to color it using ~BanishedPrince 's Photoshop tutorial.
I like how the photograph of my picture turned out. It seems to add a certain emotional depth to it...

Great drawing, you've drawn JJ perfectly. It's like the darker the picture becomes, the further you're seeping into his thoughts, his soul, as if he's hiding more secrets than you imagined. . .

Thanks! And you know what's even awesome-er? My dad said I was getting better at drawing. [He rarely compliments me like that, so it means alot. Most of the time it's "Stop wasting your time with that! I want you to do your work!'] He suggested that I take photographs of my family and try drawing them, since he noticed that I have the ability to draw stuff that I look at accurately and proportionally [for the most part.]. I'm sooo happy!
JJ's probably thinking about the Fire Nation and it's descent into "savagery", and his failiure of not being able to teach Zhao self-control, since a student's actions reflect on the teacher. And about the end of the world as the Avatar-verse as he knows it. That would put a serious look on anyone's face.

Heh. JJ wouldn't be able to relax, even at a spa. He'd probably be hassling the spa staff and angsting all over the place.
Have you seen the movie "French Kiss" starring Kevin Klein and Meg Ryan?
There's this one line where Kate (Meg Ryan) says to Luc (Kevin Klein) that goes like this:
Kate: "You'll be one of those grumpy old men sitting in the corner of a crowded cafe, mumbling to yourself, "My ass is twitching. Your people make my ass twitch."
