Trying something new. Recently I've seen some reference sheets of dragons on Deviantart, and I have to say that I really liked some of them, so I try to make one by myself

Probando algo nuevo. Hace un tiempo estoy viendo en Deviantart unas... fichas sobre dragones, describiéndolos y tal. La verdad es que la idea me pareció muy atractiva, así que decidí hacer un estudio sobre uno de mis dragones favoritos: el dragón negro, y una especie en particular, el Ala Pavorosa (ejem... todo esto es de invención mía XD). Si gusta a la gente, haré más con otros dragones. Pronto lo subiré en español

XDDD Nah, no hay de que XD Al Expomanga no voy pero mi mujer si, que se alojará en casa de su mejor amiga, que vive en Madrid. Yo tuve oportunidad de ir gracias a Babylon, pero no estoy de ánimos para un evento la verdad. Espero poder asistir al próximo con las pilas cargadas a tope! Bueno, al salón del manga puede que asista, igual nos vemos allí!

And your dragons are always so awesome lol. I wish I could just draw their heads correctly, thats the one thing that annoys me the most lol. I can never draw them how I have them imagined in my head xD

Hahaha, hey, that's the most difficult thing! Sometimes I can't draw what I'm imagining. But when it comes to dragons, I'm used to get a satisfying result, at least for me, hehe. You have to look at many references and study them, and you'll see that there are many real animal parts in a dragon body

Yeah I understand lol, im ok drawing the bodys and wings, its just sometimes the heads never work out. And the thing is, theres so many different ways of drawing dragon heads, Ive seen thousands of styles lol, its just trying to get the style I want xD But yeah I will look at dinosaur skulls for reference, Ive noticed that a lot of them look rather dragon like

What? Omg, the head is the most interesting and funny part when drawing a dragon! XD The head is what determines what kind of dragon is going to be (good, evil, strong, slim, reptile-like, bird-like, mammal-like...). I really enjoy making heads, because also it's the part where you can be more creative
