The only thing I would change is that dragons with only four limbs (ie, Smaug [2nd movie]) should have a keel, though honestly, six-limbed dragons probably should too.

Mmmm yeah, they are a pair of limbs, not a back decoration. Never emphasized enough because people don't seem to get it. Good thing that you mentioned powerful muscles have to be involved in order to move the wings, but in fact the most powerful muscles have to be underneath the wing (on the side of the body) to make the powerful downstroke because this is the motion that actually gets you into the air and holds you there against the gravity. Another very common mistake is for the membrane to become obnoxiously thin at the upper arm part of the wing (usually from the elbow to the body), and that would make normal flight nightmarishly difficult. Speaking of references, you don't see that in any birds nor bats.
